Course Overview:
This course includes a variety of activities that will prepare you for the Pre-AP Spanish course. We will work together to expand your understanding of the Spanish language and the people who speak it. Our class will focus on expanding your Spanish vocabulary, communication skills, and how to develop your ideas using complete sentences in the present, preterite, and imperfect tenses. Daily work, assessments, and projects will put your acquired knowledge to use.
Aside from basic grammar and vocabulary skills, we will also explore the following questions:
  • What kind of practices and traditions do different Spanish speakers have?
  • How does the Spanish language relate to the world around me?
  • What can I do to integrate the Spanish language in the communities I am a part of?
